I have read somewhere (and I do not remember where) that Sarah has been trying to meet with the Prime Minister for over a year. She just wants a photo taken with Mrs. Thatcher presumably to use in some lame campaign ad. For Sarah will be not be going on any news show to answer anymore “gotcha” questions. She is going to try to win the primaries with personal appearances before adoring crowds and political advertisements, which would have included Mrs. Thatcher.
Sarah thinks that by mentioning Reagan and Thatcher, she can become them without doing any of the work those folks did to become the leader of a powerful nation. It’s very doubtful that Sarah knows anything of Mrs. Thatcher’s career and most likely doesn’t care. She just wants the photo to use for her own nefarious purposes.
My hat is off to Ed Rollins, who started off his new assigment as a consultant to Michelle Bachmann by basically stating (in nicer words than mine) that a box of rocks knows more than Sarah Palin. Way to go Ed.
She still believes that buzz words and photo ops would compensate for intelligence.That woman has no shame, non whatsoever.
The SarahPac “story” has 1538 “likes”. By the time I thought about posting a response and went back to check again, it was over 2100. Feature that.
A carnival Pygmy? That is funny! I don’t know if I can stomach C for Pea. The people there are truly delusional. I’ve never seen anything like it. They copy Sarah’s victim mentality, never take responsibility when they are wrong, and blame the media nonstop. On top of it, despite what they say about themselves, they are not very bright.
OT – does anyone know if RAM is still around? Is she gone or has she assumed another online identity.
I did not notice the SarahPac video, so I just watched it. This woman is totally in love with herself. And she still clings to the notion that she is encouraging Americans to know their history. I think Americans know full well how much Sarah knows about history (i.e. ringing bells and firing warning shots, etc…).

Start with yourself Sarah and learn that there history girl. I would suggest starting in any third grade class. Be sure to sit next to the smart kid so you can copy off of him or her when test time comes around.

If I only had a dime for each and every time someone made the observation that this “family vacation” would render wonderful “VACATION” photographs and videos to be used in future SP promotions. I could have paid my son’s undergraduate college tuition and the Master’s degree tuition for my daughter. Rats!!

I’m referring to the ones who “home school” their kids because they are anarchists and don’t believe in following rules. Those are the kids wandering around town all day doing nothing, and when they periodically rejoin public education, with all A’s I might add, they are well behind their peers.
It is absolutely laughable that she thinks we all need to be schooled in patriotism and what it means to be an American. Of course she is only talking about those of us who are on to her and criticize her behavior. Her rabid monkeys are the “real” Americans. The rest of us need re-education camp.

Amen, Janet, Amen. Any President of the United States of America needs to know how to construct a proper sentence. That is the thing that bothers me the most about Mrs. Palin. I must have a President who speaks English.
Sound off, only got through half, but I did notice there were many bus shots and despite the lead-in, where were the countless people she claimed she talked to and shared with. Those folks are looney toons all the way. Dominionist Christians one and all, they are truly scary and dedicated to overthrowing the country and installing a far right christian government based on the Old Testament. Take away all the freedoms our forebearers fought and died for. Thinking about Memorial Day. She was more intent on hijacking Memorial Day and parading herself than honoring the fallen. I started to see it more that day and it is beginning to gel and set in my mind. She is out to destroy our government and her followers are right behind her. Brown shirts anyone?

I just don’t have either the time or the stomach to go foraging at SarahPac–but I certainly thought it was interesting how the featured photos there, which go along with the clip, are of Sarah in her “studious Sarah semi-librarian” duds, as opposed to the slightly prurient, wink-wink photos of “biker Sarah”, blasting into DC wearing the back-of-the-Harley “duds + platform shoes”. The stagecraft is truly comical. The now-lengthy PR record/trail of Palin, America’s first “lap-dance” (thanks, Joe) candidate, crossing with that of our Fourth Estate, is going to keep graduate students busy for years. I can see the thesis titles now Palin and the Great Press-“Hook-Up”, 2008 to 2011.

What is worse is palin’s devoted fans. And the main stream media. Why are they covering this idiot? Why are they playing right into her twisted logic?
There is something truly wrong in America when the religious folks are gaining the upper hands and a political party is trying play ‘holier then thou’ on each other.
Why is God and religion the standard for the republicans?
Why is a candidates religion more important then their political beliefs?
If I want religion, I will go to the church of my choice, not palin’s, bachmann’s, gingrich and any other candidate.
Wake up America! A republican victory will mean a theocracy and the end of the America we know and love.
Who taught Sarah that getting off of a bus on other’s turf and shaking hands and saying a few shallow words, and smiling, getting photographed, signing autographs helps anyone? How does this exercise help America move forward, or showcase all that is good and strong? I still don’t get how meeting Sarah for 3 minutes is going to inspire people. What substance is she talking about that the people got from her?
How does being seen inspire people to go and learn about the nation’s history? In fact, the tourists were already there, having made vacation plans with their kids before she even arrived. What can Sarah teach these unsuspecting tourists more than the $8/hour summer student tour guide can?
What is the percentage of time Sarah the history teacher used in her tour? Seemed like the media sucked a lot of her time up. What is the substance she feels the people received more than what school teachers could give? Or educational institutions? Did she call the parents and ask for permission before she, signed autographs of underage schoolkids who were touring with coahes and chaperones?
Why didn’t she direct them to the hospital emergency rooms to view the heroic efforts of doctors, nurses, or direct them to watch the emergency crews, fire, police, risk their lives to save others. Now that would have showcased some of what is good and strong; not showcasing herself. Maybe she doesn’t realize it, but most people are thankful and appreciative every day of their lives and don’t need her to remind them.
OK, so I am supposed to tune in to a history lesson by a woman who went to five colleges (none with admissions standards; none where any professor remembers her; and none that even has any thesis on record by her)? This is a joke and says more about the electorate she is attempting to boondoggle. I am ashamed she was the governor of my state. I am now looking at the people around me more closely as to their ability to detect a fraud like Sarah Palin and what it means to Alaska’s future.
Let’s just imagine what would have happened if the private sector that Sarah wants so much to progress, had taken over these historical sights and they were not preserved by “Big Government”:
The Liberty Bell: in some millionaire’s private collection
Gettysburg: Golf course for exclusive country club
Ellis Island: Condos
Statue of Liberty: Sold to some corporation and covered with advertising or melted down for the copper
National Archives: Sold to investors in China
“We the People” would not have access to our treasures unless we are wealthy or willing to pay the price!
